How do I know if it worked?

Take the quiz after the song. It is built from the concepts, not the lyrics, so it measures what you remember. Your dashboard tracks concepts mastered, learning and due for review, and you can see mastery per song in your library.

How should I plan my songs before an exam?

Split the syllabus into topics of five to eight facts and make one song per topic. Listen on day one, quiz yourself, and replay the ones with weak concepts over the following days. Learn gives you 30 songs a month, Pro 60, with no daily lock when the exam is close.
